The Village at Schneithorst
The objective for M+H Architects was to breathe new life and a revenue stream into a historic landmark by designing upscale retail and office space that would coexist with Schneithorst’s Restaurant, a St. Louis landmark.
M+H designed a cohesive development that has space for up to 11 boutique shops on the first floor and 15,000 square feet of office space on the second. The site also includes underground and surface-level parking and a beautiful commons area with a lobby and elevators that link to the restaurant and bar. In 2006, this project won the Excellence in Masonry award for Architectural Design and Distinction in Craftsmanship.
