Rawlings Sporting Goods
Dardenne Prairie, MO
The Challenge
For more than a century, Rawlings has shaped the game through a combination of innovation, craftsmanship, and athlete insight. As the company continued to evolve, it needed a facility that could bring together engineering, research, specialty manufacturing, and player development in a cohesive environment. The challenge was creating a destination that supported highly specialized functions while fostering collaboration, strengthening brand identity, and connecting product development directly to athlete performance.
The Solution
M+H Architects designed the 53,000-square-foot Rawlings Tech Center as a hub where innovation, craftsmanship, and athlete performance come together under one roof. Located in Dardenne Prairie, Missouri, the facility unites engineering, research, manufacturing, and player development in a highly collaborative environment that supports the entire product development process. At its core, engineers develop and refine the next generation of baseball and softball equipment alongside a custom glove workshop where skilled craftspeople create professional-grade products for elite athletes. The integration of D-BAT O’Fallon further connects product innovation with player development by providing training, instructional, and coaching spaces for athletes of all ages. The result is an immersive destination where research, manufacturing, training, and customer engagement converge, reinforcing Rawlings’ commitment to innovation and the future of the game.
