Reliance Bank – The Grove

Reliance Bank wanted this restored landmark building to stand as a beacon to the company’s connectivity & commitment to the community and its residents. The challenge was to breathe new life into an existing three-story building that had been constructed over a century before. Built in 1892 at the busy intersection of Manchester Road and Tower Grove Avenue, the building had issues with everything from the stone foundation to the tarred roof.

To ensure that this building remains an anchor in the neighborhood for years to come, countless restorations had to take place. M+H went through extensive measures with significant attention to detail to revitalize the historic building. After design and construction, the project was named one of Landmark Association’s Most Enhanced Projects and functions exactly as Reliance Bank had envisioned.
