Reflecting on a Milestone: Matt Isaak & Nick Rauscher Become Licensed Architects
Earlier this year, M+H proudly celebrated a major professional milestone for two of our team members, Nick Rauscher and Matt Isaak, in becoming Registered Architects!
Licensure is no small achievement – it marks the culmination of countless hours of study, real-world experience, and commitment to growth in the architectural profession. Both Nick and Matt completed rigorous requirements and passed all six tests of the Architect Registration Examination (ARE), earning their titles as licensed architects.
To mark the occasion, our team honored them through a unique firm tradition: The Passing of the T-square. With each new licensee, we pass down a ceremonial T-square — symbolizing the responsibility, legacy, and community that comes with licensure. The recipient adds their name and holds it until the next team member achieves this milestone, continuing the chain of growth and mentorship.
While it may have been a few months since their achievements, the pride we feel hasn’t faded. Nick and Matt continue to embody the values we celebrate as a firm – professionalism, passion, and a dedication to excellence. Their licensure is not just a personal accomplishment, but a reflection of the collective support and spirit that defines our team.
