Located in Cranbury, NJ at exit 8A of the Turnpike, this Project started as a new, speculative, single-story office/distribution center, designed to accommodate up to four tenants. Prior to completion, Wayfair, the largest online-only retailer for home furniture in the United States, became the building’s single tenant.
With a 40’ clear height, insulated tilt-up concrete wall panels and a 600’ building depth, this project differentiated itself from the competition and redefines the standard for 21st century distribution facilities. The project is targeting LEED Core & Shell Silver Certification.
This is a sister-building to the larger adjacent Building 1 in Cranbury, NJ. Originally designed as a speculative office/distribution center, it became a build-to-suit for Wayfair who also occupies the original building next door creating a “distribution campus” for the company. It’s 40’ clear height and insulated tilt-up panels mimic the original building’s construction. It’s smaller floor plate and single loaded dock configuration differentiate it. This building is also targeting LEED Silver certification.
