Taylor County RECC

Greenwood, Delaware

The Challenge

Taylor County RECC needed a headquarters campus capable of supporting the cooperative’s continued growth while enhancing coordination between administrative staff and field operations. The organization sought to modernize existing facilities, expand operational capacity, and create a durable, long-term solution that would support its mission of delivering reliable service to communities throughout central Kentucky.

The Solution

Working closely with Taylor County RECC, the project team developed a new headquarters campus that brings office, operations, maintenance, and storage functions together in a unified setting. The campus includes a new office building, a renovation and expansion of the operations facility, a dedicated maintenance building, and covered storage space designed to support utility operations.
The resulting campus balances functionality, durability, and flexibility through a combination of conventional steel construction and pre-engineered metal building systems. By integrating new construction with strategic improvements to existing facilities, the project creates an efficient operational hub that positions the cooperative for future growth while supporting the employees and resources that keep its service area connected.
