Joshua Bender Promoted to Technology Director

Joshua Bender, a LEED accredited Project Architect, and past BIM Manager at M+H, was recently promoted to Technology Director as a result of his contributions & dedication to enhancing the firm’s mission & values through technology. Josh started at M+H in 2010 and directly lead the firm’s drafting software transition from, AutoCAD, to the much more technically advanced 3D software known as Revit. This transition was the first of countless initiatives toward advancing our Mission of understanding our client’s business and helping them realize their goals through creative design solutions. While in his role as the firm’s first BIM Manager, Josh helped establish and implement the office’s BIM standards, created workflow enhancements & efficiencies, improved quality control measures, and creating life-like visualization tools which became instrumental in establishing our Immersive Design process. His passion for design & technology, along with his infectious sense of humor makes him a key member of our team.

For years, Josh has hosted monthly ‘Learning Sessions’ with our architects & designers to coach them on various technology improvements, standards, etc.., which has flattened the learning curve for our team. It impresses me most because he does all this while being one of the most talented and in-demand licensed architects on our team.
