M+H Wins TCA Achievement Award for Midwest Energy

M+H Architects is proud to announce that our Midwest Energy & Communications project in Cassopolis, Michigan has been recognized with a Tilt-Up Achievement Award from the Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA).
Each year, this program honors projects that showcase the variety and flexibility of tilt-up construction, celebrating work that advances industry technology, delivers unique solutions, and sets a standard of excellence.

With its fiber-to-home initiative driving rapid growth, Midwest Energy sought a campus that would bring employees together, enhance safety, and improve operational efficiency. A comprehensive facility and site assessment revealed the need for significant upgrades to meet modern building codes, energy standards, and long-term expansion. With those concerns in mind, the new 129,500 SF headquarters respond to those needs with a two-story tilt-up office building, a hardened data center and operations facility, expansive warehouse and storage space, and a covered vehicle and maintenance area. More than a physical upgrade, the facility supports Midwest’s fiber-based communication system, enabling real-time utility solutions and reinforcing their customer-focused approach.
As part of this recognition, the Midwest Energy headquarters will be featured in Tilt-Up Today magazine and celebrated during the Tilt-Up Awards Gala at the 2025 Tilt-Up Convention & Expo in Nashville this October.
We are honored to see this project recognized alongside some of the industry’s best. We are proud to continue designing facilities that combine safety, efficiency, and innovation for our clients. Awards such as these are a testament to our dedication and a reminder of the impact thoughtful design can have on the communities we serve.
