After earning an associate degree in applied science from the architectural program at St. Louis Community College – Meramec, Larry worked at several local firms, gaining experience designing retail, office and residential spaces. He co-founded M+H Architects with Mark Hugeback in 1989 with a mission to practice architecture using a client-oriented and relationship-based approach. Before retiring, Larry helped grow M+H Architects into a nationally recognized firm serving companies across industries and regions.

Larry served on the board of directors for Hope Educational & Research Center, and designed and built four residences with his wife.
