The ribbon cutting ceremony for World Wide Technology’s Global headquarters in Westport Plaza, which included 3 bald eagles, was held on November 7th.
David Steward’s opening remarks referred back to the building’s topping off ceremony held in June 2016. Archbishop Carlson then blessed the building. Closing remarks were made by Jim Kavanaugh who thanked the team who came together to make the building a reality, but most of all the employees of World Wide Technology who have given the company a strong foundation.
He noted how humbling it was to be at the new headquarters and think back to the company’s beginnings, as well as how excited he is for the future. World Wide Technology will continue to invest in and grow its facilities. Kavanaugh pointed to the transformation of the company’s former headquarters on Fee Fee Road into a technology campus.
Justin Reise, Director of Facilities, and Tom Shrunk, CFO, cut the ribbon.
Three years of design and construction work comes to a close. M+H is honored to continue to be a part of the design team for WWT. Congratulations WWT on your new Global Headquarters!
