New Systems Center
The UNT System Center in Dallas was created to provide a satellite campus for the University of North Texas program in South Dallas. The building has an 80,000 SF footprint, is single story and constructed of tilt-up concrete walls, ribbon windows and curved entry elements. The facade has manufactured stone veneer to relate to materials indigenous to the surrounding area.
The facility is directed toward commuter students and evening classes for people in South Dallas that do not live on the campus in Denton, Texas, which is located north of Dallas. It includes multiple labs, video conference rooms and classrooms and also contains an early childhood development and counseling area.
