Family Room – Mercy Hospital

M+H executed renovation of approximately 1,100 square feet of space within Mercy Hospital for a “Family Room” for Ronald McDonald House Charities. Operated by trained Ronald McDonald House volunteers, the family room provides a controlled, semi-private support space for parents and siblings of longer-stay child patients and is available to local, as well as out of town families. This is one of three Ronald McDonald Family Rooms in the St. Louis area completed by M+H Architects and O’Toole Design Associates, which typically include an efficient kitchen, dining area, living room space for reading, TV and conversation, toilet, shower, laundry and storage facilities.

Family Room – Children’s Hospital

The second of three Family Rooms for Ronald McDonald House Charities, this one is approximately 1,700 square feet of space within the Children’s Hospital in St. Louis. The Family Rooms are operated by trained Ronald McDonald House volunteers, and they extend the comfort and support of Ronald McDonald House in a controlled, semi-private support space for parents and siblings of longer-stay child patients. Completed by M+H Architects and O’Toole Design Associates, the Family Rooms typically include a kitchen, dining area, living room space with toilet, shower and laundry and storage facilities.

Family Room – Cardinal Glennon Hospital for Children

This “Family Room” for Ronald McDonald House Charities is located in Cardinal Glennon Hospital for Children and is the third such M+H designed space. The Family Room, operated by trained Ronald McDonald House volunteers, enhances traditional hospital public spaces and provides a cozy, inviting home away from home within a state-of-the-art hospital. This, like the other two Ronald McDonald Family Rooms in the St. Louis area completed by M+H Architects and O’Toole Design Associates, includes a kitchen, dining area, living room space with toilet, and laundry and storage facilities.
