Pavilion and Restroom Facilities – Town and Country, MO
The City of Town & Country purchased this nine-acre tract on the east side of Cedar Valley Lane to be developed into a neighborhood park. The property contained a house, several outbuildings and a restored historical log cabin, called the Kropp Log Cabin. The house was later taken down.
Most seemed to agree that the pastoral nature of the site should be preserved and wanted the Kropp Log Cabin to be featured. Working with Loomis Associates, a new pavilion and restroom facility were designed, complimentary to the history of the City and region, the log cabins and the look of the nineteenth century countryside. Drace Park was ready for residents to enjoy by Spring.
